We were responsible for creating and implementing a large-scale gala at the Vienna City Hall on the occasion of the 25-year anniversary of the Vienna Employment Promotion Fund waff. However, the COVID-19 safety policy in place at that time did not allow us to enact our concept as planned. Rather than cancelling the event, we transferred it for our clients into the virtual space and organized the gala as a completely digital event.

Supported by our technology partner Production Office the gala was re-imagined as a live talk show with  several celebrity guests, hosted by Birgit Denk. The core piece of the scenic design was the stage backwall that was custom-built for this event. Together with Anna & Rebecca Sternberg and the WUK Produktionsgestaltung we created a customised presentation screen with a total presentation area of 54 sqm. Our premise was to create a sustainable back wall that waff will be able to use for many more years in a variety of events.
