On March 14, 2024, a ceremony took place at Palais Ferstel to honor 18 carers who look after and assist individuals with disabilities or (health) needs at home for their outstanding services and achievements in care.
The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber's Association for Personal Counselling and Care hosted the first ever “Daheim Betreut Award“ to honor those who make a significant contribution to society with their work. An expert jury selected two personal carers from each federal state among almost 500 nominees nationwide.
In a festive setting, the emotional eulogies written by relatives and cared for persons were read and the “Daheim Betreut Awards“ were awarded to personal carers.
We planned and organized the event in cooperation with the Association for Personal Counselling and Care of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
The event was recognized as a Green Event by the Austrian Ecolabel. We aimed for climate-friendly guest travel and regional and seasonal catering and chose our cooperating partners on account of their social responsibility, the regional value added they create, and their use of resources. The table decorations, which also served as a give-away for the guests, were conceived and manufactured once more in cooperation with Jugend am Werk.
