More than 2,500 young members of the GenZ partied at the event location USUS am Wasser right by the Danube in Vienna to kick off the Electronic Beats campaign’s Summer of Joy with a launch event featuring Grammy-nominated music producer Jayda G. Electronic Beats, a marketing program of Deutsche Telekom, hosts an array of musical events targeted at the Generation Z across Europe – to celebrate the joy of being young. The kick-off event in Vienna was overseen by Telekom’s Austrian subsidiary company Magenta and implemented together with us.
The event venue USUS am Wasser had a full redo to mirror the Electronic Beats teaser that explores the themes magical forest, Peter Pan, and subway. An entire sound system set up for the event and magical light installations throughout the venue transformed the location into a Magenta world. The guests were picked up at the subway station by branded rickshas and could go on boat rides along the USUS shore. At a Glow Station the guests could get sparkled up and take pictures in the Electronic Beats photo booth.
The line-up included the international DJs Jayda G and FIONA and the Austrian artist Wolfram as well as DJs of Vienna’s own music collectives “Kein Sonntag Ohne Techno“ and “Grüß Dich Bussi Bussi Club“.
We oversaw the planning and implementation of the event in close cooperation with the Cologne-based agency 2bild.
